Digital Post Impressionist Portrait

This is the original picture that I used. She is Joy from Red Velvet, a girlgroup in South Korea.
This is my version of Joy. From my first impressionist landscape, I've learned many techniques, like not using millions of tiny dots and wasting lots of time. Though the landscape drawing was far more better than this portrait, I still think I did a good job. I did not put that much detail into the rose by her mouth as I did not want to pull the focus of the viewers' eyes away from her.

Street Art Piece in SketchbookPro6

Red Strings of Fate
I don't even know what I created to be honest...But I saw the red color and decided to use a symmetry option and made lots of red strings. Originally, I wanted to make a spider knitting more strings, but I decided against it. ( I cannot draw spiders, I suck at that...) The bunny symbolizes the myth of the bunny making mochi on the moon, so that is why it has no fate other than being alone.

Digital Post-Impressionist Landscape

One thing I learned from this project is to STOP picking really difficult photos and to just think about how much time I have and how much time a project will take.
This is the original.

Art-Rage Stencils: Rhythm/Movement

To do this, I had a lot of trial and error with my stencils. Finally, after 2 ish minutes of searching and testing, I cam up with this! I really like the colors of this, but honestly this assignment was very boring.

Rothko-Esque Painting in ArtRage

If there's one thing I could say about this assignment is that I like sticking to programs I know. Honestly, I was very stressed with blending which sounds pretty sad. BUT,  with the helpful Sydney and Ms. Forrest, I managed to blend awesomely with the pallet knife.

Celebrity With Animal Name- Gordon RAMsay

For this project I had lots of fun adding all the ram features onto Gordon Ramsay. I took a while to blend the edges properly but I think it could still use some work. I finally found a great technique to blending edges. First, at a low opacity you erase the edges slightly to make it easier to blend. Then, still at a low opacity on a smudger tool, you soften up the edges.

Scanned Felt Tip Drawing

This is Vadelle. She is a demon, and at first I thought it was really good. Now, I don't really like it. I realize now that I need to be more careful with my lines, because there were a lot of open spaces.

9 Panel Comic Strip: Salty Fries

This was actually very fun project for me to create. Honestly, I really should have been more careful with what I erase because the only reason the girl is in the same position throughout the entire comic is because of my lack of self discipline with the erasing tool.

Colored/Shaded Scene of Choice Cartoon 1-Retro Diner

This was actually a really fun project to do. If you haven't noticed already, the idea of this image is that its my take on the famous stock photo image of the boyfriend and girlfriend. They are in this retro nineties diner, and each part of this has taken a lot of effort to do.

Bird Coloring Page -Heron or Hey Ron

This was very easy to do! I really think the "Where's Danielle" project really helped me with layering and duplicating images.

Kaleidescope

This is Pandy, he is a colorful panda that represents my dad. (inside joke) Honestly this was not very fun for me. I like coloring in things like this on PAPER, not digitally. But, Pandy came out well enough, and it was actually quite simple to fill in everything.

Where's Waldo? -Where's Danielle?

This was one of the most fun and semi-stressful projects so far. When I first started this, all of it crashed. Which sucks. So now I know what NOT to do, and I am very well skilled in the art of saving.

Albrecht Dürer: My Son

This is my son, and he is the most beautiful and precious thing that you have ever seen in your life. Your welcome.

Edward Gorey-Little Danielle Got Hit By The Bell

This was very boring. It took me a while to cut the shapes out but in the end it was fine.

Celebrity Coloring Book Page

There is no possible way for her to sit on that stool like that. I have tried numerous times and failed. When drawing this her eyebrow is floating a little so people can call her brows "fly"...get it?

Cartoon Yourself

This is me as a realistic cartoon. Honestly, this was such a weird project. It was very fun to create, but when I had to individually draw each part of my face, it felt weird. I wanted to make the main focus of the photo on me. (totally a narcissist) so I just made the background a plain color with some happy clouds. I think what took the longest was layering and figuring out my skin tone.

Cartoon Version of Masterpiece

This is my take on The Harbour at Argenteuil by Claude Monet. I spent a lot of time on the grass by layering colors and playing around with the textures and opacities. This was very fun, almost therapeutic when I did the clouds. ( totally wasn't having a stress session halfway) All in all, I really like Monet's style.
